Park Pooches that NEED FOREVER HOMES -
We currently have 4 wonderful dogs at The Park who are in need of forever homes.
JOSIE was scheduled to be put down the night we rescued her from the Murray County animal shelter where she had been picked up as a stray. Josie is a purebred Boxer with all of the breed traits. Josie is about 5 years old and has had a few litters of puppies. She is heartworm positive and is currently in treatment. She is very healthy otherwise and will make a full recovery. Josie is a little shy, but extremely lovable. She is a mature, well-behaved lady. One look from her melts your heart. We have thankfully received enough donations to cover her heartworm treatment, so her rehoming fee is only $175.00
EVA came to us by way of Lawrenceville Highway, meaning she was running down the middle of it !! Ranger Grace and a Park Client were able to corral her and bring her to safety. We were unable to find her owner after following the required posting and waiting rules. I think Eva (the sweet name we gave her) is lucky we rescued her. She was a 4-5 year old, unspayed, in heat, matted mess when she came to us. She is now a 4-5 year old, spayed, beautifully groomed young lady who is ready to become the member of a loving household. SLIM is neutered, heartworm free and about 8 years old. Slim is a sweet hound dog and a GREAT WATCH DOG.
