Open Arms Dog Rescue operates as a subsidiary of The Park Pet Haven, Inc. which is the Georgia Non-Profit 501(c)3 Corporation we have formed to enable us to better do the work of rescuing, fostering and finding forever homes for Dogs that are in need.
Open Arms Dog Rescue will utilize the facilities The Park Pet Retreat and foster homes to house and care for the dogs that we save.
Open Arms will take full responsibility for any dogs we rescue to ensure that they are spayed/neutered, properly vaccinated and receive any necessary medical care they need. We will ensure that they are in good health and well mannered, and will not put our daycare or boarding clients at any risk.
We will make you and the community at large aware of the dogs we have that are in need of adoption.
We will use an application and screening process for potential parents and will collect a $225 Adoption fee which is used to offset our expenses and to assist in caring for other dogs.
Furthermore, we will conduct Fundraising Events and will solicit tax-deductible donations from the community to enable us to meet the monetary demands for the care and housing of these dogs. There will also be Volunteer and Foster opportunities for you as well.
